Questions

Will my clients know the reminders are automated?

Reminders come from your business name, with your contact details, and replies go straight to your own inbox. On the Free plan there's a small “Sent with ChaseUp” line at the bottom; Pro removes it.

Do I need to stop using my current invoicing software?

No. You can log invoices you've sent from MYOB, Xero or anywhere else (and attach the PDF), and ChaseUp will just handle the chasing. Or you can create invoices in ChaseUp.

How do clients pay?

On Pro, every reminder and invoice page has a “Pay now” button. Payments go through Stripe directly into your own bank account, and the invoice is marked as paid automatically. You can also record cash or bank transfers yourself.

Can I charge late fees?

Yes, on Pro. You set a flat or percentage fee, a grace period and a maximum. Make sure your terms with clients mention late fees before you turn this on.

What happens after the free trial?

Your 14-day Pro trial needs no credit card. When it ends you drop back to the Free plan unless you choose to subscribe. Nothing is deleted.

Is GST handled?

Yes. Set your tax rate (10% GST by default) and whether your prices include it. ChaseUp works out the GST on each invoice. Other countries' currencies and tax rates are supported too.
